Broken bone healing process can be uncomfortable and hard for young children and their parents. 
For this project i designed a new experience that can ease the child's fear and the uncomfortable healing time.  
First, the bone is scanned in 3D and then transported to the 3d design program. at this point the child can choose the color and character that will be connected to his fixation as a physical therapy game. then the fixation is printed in 3D, using polimer material that is safe to use on a human body. The fixation is made from 2 parts that can be placed and removed easily.  
This fixation is designed for replacing the old cast that is made from plaster. therefor the fixation is washable, can be removed easily and encourages children to do physical therapy training by using the games on the fixation.
